Isabel Robson is a British-born scenographer living in Berlin who specialises in video for performance and installation.
She trained at Central Saint Martin’s College of Art and Design, London and at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs, Paris (Atelier AII).
Starting out as scenography assistant at Theater Basel and design associate at the National Theatre, London, she has been a freelance designer and filmmaker working mainly in Germany since 2002.
Recent collaborations include productions with the werkgruppe2, Helge Letonja, Lorenzo Fiorini, Paul Zoller, Sabine Auf der Heyde, Holle Munster and Heshma Wignaraja. She cofounded the reVerb collective with Susanne Vincenz.
Isabel Robson teaches Media Choreography at HZT, the Inter-University Centre for Dance, Berlin and currently leads the Film@Busch project at the Ernst Busch University of Theatre Arts Berlin.
